Q:    Who should I contact if I think I may have been exposed to a pesticide? 
A:    Staff of the Scientific Evaluation Section can provide general information on the potential health risks of an active ingredient and the risks associated with the intended use of a pesticide.  In case of emergencies, please call 911 or contact a local Poison Control Center (1-800-282-3171 - available 24/7).

Q:    If I have a complaint involving a pesticide application, who do I contact?
A:    For structural pest control,  lawn care by pest control operators, or mosquito control operations contact the Bureau of Entomology and Pest Control (850) 921-4177
A:    For agricultural pesticide applications, contact the Bureau of Compliance Monitoring (850) 488-8731

Q:    How can I find out about pest identification?
A:    Contact your local county extension office

Q:    How can I find which pesticides are available for certain pests and crops, etc.?
A:    Contact your local county extension office and/or NSPIRS Database for Florida registered pesticide products, usage by pest and site information based on the federally approved pesticide database.

A:    Search the DACS Pesticide Registration database for listing of registered pesticide products.

Q:    How can I find additional information on pesticide product brands registered in Florida?

Q:    How do I discontinue a product brand registration?
A:    To discontinue a product brand registration during the annual renewal period:
1)  Write D1 and initial next to each product brand to start/denote the first (1st) year discontinuance.
2)  Write D2 and initial next to each product brand to denote the second (2nd) year discontinuance.
3)  Line-through and initial next to each product brand that is not being renewed or is being cancelled.
